Saren saw it just tackle him countering him. It was smarter then it looked. Not having alot of room to work with he took his palm and covered in in fire useing firbend putting all its point into power then pushed against its head with a burning hand

He takes a moment to go into some closet, where he opens up a locker, digs into the back, and brings out this long, wrapped up object. He comes back to Saren and gently unwraps the cloth to reveal that it was a Claymore. Not just some normal Claymore though, it seemed to shimmer, was bright in color and felt somewhat divine. It was an Angel Claymore.

"I made this thing some time ago, but never had a use for it. Tis the best thing I ever made, was never able to reforge it. I was savin' it for some great soldier, perhaps as a crownin' achievement reward. But, seein' yer selflessness, how ye'd stick your neck out for strangers, and how good ya fight. I think you'd make good use of it." With that, the blacksmith held out the Angel Claymore in the cloth to Saren, giving it to him.
